Dear
Colleagues,
On
behalf of the Society
for Histochemistry, COST NANONET Action and local organizers I would
like to invite you to
the 55th
Symposium of the Society for Histochemistry, which will take place in
Prague,
the Czech Republic from 11th to 14th June, 2013.
This
international Symposium will focus on Intermediate
Filaments in Health & Disease, especially on imaging and sample
preparation methods including both light and electron microscopies.
The Symposium is organized in cooperation with BMBS COST Action

Dear
colleagues,
As you
might have seen in the news, the Czech Republic had suffered recently
from
floods in some regions. However, flood waters have already subsided and
all is
back to normal. Prague did not suffer any damage due to timely
construction of
anti-flood barriers. Public transportation operates according to usual
timetables.
We look
forward to meeting you at the symposium and wish you a safe journey to
Prague.
See you
soon,
Organizers
of the SfH & COST Nanonet Symposium

The aim
of the Symposium is to bring together internationally recognized
experts, young researchers and students from various fields of
biomedicine dealing with intermediate filaments, and to discuss also
novel imaging/histochemistry methods which has the potential to
contribute to a frontier research in molecular and cell biology,
molecular medicine and pathology of intermediate filaments. There
will be available support for
young
scientists and reduced fees for students.
|
The
scientific programme will include invited talks, oral presentations,
posters,
and instrumentation workshops attached to the commercial exhibition.
Prague
known as the city of a hundred spires on the River Vltava is one of the
most
beautiful cities of the world. Prague
with its magnificent historical monuments, modern infrastructure and
good
transport accessibility in the “heart of Europe” is an ideal
destination for
international conferences. The
Symposium will be held in the Conference centre of the Institute of
Molecular
Genetics AS CR. The Institute is
located in the new, high-tech
equipped building, which belongs to the most modern research buildings
in
Central Europe.
We
are
looking forward to meeting you in Prague!
